Cast Auditions

COSPLAY ACTOR 

Selected cosplayers will portray their characters at COSPLAGUE's interactive meet-and-greets and themed activities at Tucson Mall on October 31, from 2:00–7:00 PM. Responsibilities include remaining in character during scheduled appearances, engaging with attendees of all ages, posing for photos, and participating in character-specific activities at designated locations throughout the event. Optional opportunities may include joining the mall's Halloween costume parade*!
 

This is a casual, family-friendly event focused on immersive character interactions rather than scripted performances. Scheduled breaks, designated rest areas, and on-site handlers will be provided. Cosplayers will have downtime between assigned appearances.

*Please note our hired cosplay actors MAY NOT participate in the cosplay contest! 
 

COMPENSATION:

This is a paid cosplay opportunity. All selected cosplayers will receive monetary compensation, with final rates determined based on event budget, cast size, and assigned responsibilities. Compensation details will be provided and agreed upon before confirming participation.

Additional perks include event freebies, opportunities to earn from paid Polaroid photos and autographs, and the option to sell personal cosplay prints, photocards, or merchandise through our designated Artist Alley space.

Hotel & Travel not accommodated. 

If you have worked as an actor for Aicosu previously; there is no need to send in an audition.

Please note that Love & Deepspace characters are preferred in Halloween or MAGIC themed versions. I.E. Myth cosplays.

We recommend linking a google drive of images and videos of the characters you are auditioning for. MAKE SURE WE HAVE ACCESS.

Please include any food allergies, transportation requirements, masking, etc.

Feel free to list anything you think makes you experienced for this role. Be it volunteering at a convention or improv classes, etc. Cosplay accolades or otherwise. 

Again, we recommend a google drive link but if not available, upload below. VIDEO is required. Auditions without video will not be considered.

Applicants can expect to receive a response within approximately one week after applications close on October 20th regarding whether they have been selected. In most cases, candidates may be contacted to arrange a phone or online video interview either before or shortly after the deadline.
